About the presenter

Liz Ely - Clinical Advisor, Housing Hub

Liz has over 30 years of experience working in the disability sector, with roles ranging from music therapist and learning and development professional to Executive Leadership and Management. Her focus and passion for advocating for change and improving outcomes for people's rights are what drive her. Liz has a particular interest and expertise in safeguarding, managing behaviours of concern, and addressing restrictive practices. She has not only led organisations in improving their practices but has also influenced and led sector-wide advocacy, resulting in policy changes.

Our training is for anyone that would like to deliver high quality services to people with disability. Our experts can support Support Coordinators, Allied Health Professionals, Providers of Housing and Disability Support Workers.

Do you deliver private team training?

Yes, we can deliver tailored training packages to suit the needs of your team. We work collaboratively with you to understand your team’s learning objectives and then develop our training content and delivery to best achieve these outcomes. Do you offer discounts for groups?

Starting on October 24, 2023, a group booking discount will be available for purchases involving 5 or more individuals in a single full-price live workshop. If the workshop has fewer than 4 registered participants, there's a possibility it may be cancelled. In the event of cancellation, you have two options: 
- Receive a full refund or 
- Opt for the next available session on the same topic.
